How did you get started?
Lucy: It hit me whilst I was travelling across the globe. I was so excited by new products, new designs, things that I just hadn’t seen before. I wanted to bring them to Australia and start a shop. I called up Jo to tell her and she said ‘me too, let’s do it!’

What was your inspiration?
We are inspired to create products that are for everyone. We wanted to put our own stamp on the homewares industry and create our own signature style – relaxed, unisex and inspiring.

What keeps you motivated?
We are very lucky to be surrounded by a great community. Our team, our customers and our suppliers are an incredible source of inspiration. Our customers especially, everything we do is for them. When we hear positive feedback from a customer it makes our day!! Whether it’s hearing that someone is loving their new quilt set or they just love our customer service – it really makes all the hard work worthwhile.

Where do you source your materials?
We source materials both locally and offshore. We work closely with India for our textile range and we also manufacture in Melbourne for our furniture, clocks and prints. It’s the same with our brands, we stock an incredible selection of Australian designers whilst also representing some of the best from America, Sweden and more.

What are the design trends you are seeing emerge for 2017?
We’re not really a brand that follows trends, but we are excited to see more rustic, earthy tones together with plenty of texture.

What is your favourite piece at the moment?
Lucy: Hands down our new In My Life print. The lyrics of my favourite Beatles song immortalized in silver foil.
Jo: I love the Bobby Quilt Set. It’s a relaxed, unisex design which is everything that we are all about.

What is your favourite room in your home?
Lucy: My sunroom. It’s an indoor jungle filled with records, sunlight, artwork and a healthy dose of mess.
Jo: My bedroom. I’ve got 2 kids under 10 so I relish my own time in bed, wrapped up in Hunting for George goodness.
